Inventing Anytime, Anywhere, with Anything!

Spotlight On TMI Artists Mini-course Series, STEM

Every kid is an inventor, and every classroom can be an invention lab! In this session, we’ll explore different ways to engage students of all ages with inventing, whether they have access to a fully equipped Makerspace or just good old-fashioned cardboard and tape. We’ll look at examples of invention projects, think about how they might fit into your curriculum, and ask WHY inventing is so important!

Session Objectives:

  • To understand why inventing in the classroom is so valuable

  • To learn about different approaches and starting points for invention projects

  • To get inspiration for ideas for your own classroom invention projects
