Amanda received her B.S. in Elementary Education and MAT in Urban Education from The College of New Jersey. She is also certified to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). In her 8 years as a New Jersey educator, she’s had the privilege to work with students who inspire her everyday. In the classroom, her intention is to create brave spaces for students where they can take risks with their learning. She strives not only to teach them content but to also encourage them to be active participants in creating a better world. She currently teaches fifth grade within the Passaic Public School district.
