Addressing Behavior Challenges in the Classroom: A Look at Classroom Management

Special Education

Addressing challenging behavior to facilitate learning for all students is a necessity in every classroom in the school. Join us as we provide information on the science behind behavior and as we discuss and strategize specific challenges that we experience in our work each day. With effective classroom management as the focus, we will address the topics of identifying behaviors to be targeted for change, understanding and identifying the root cause of behaviors, and the incorporation of positive behavior supports to foster the development of replacement behaviors.

Participants will gain pertinent information on classroom management and behavior change through the provision of real-life examples. Come with an open mind and your real-life scenarios to be discussed and strategized!
