As an instructional leader, you are keenly aware that the best interventions are robust strategies that work well in the least restrictive environment and benefit all learners.  Currently, how are you supporting your teachers’ acquisition of current skills and knowledge in this difficult but necessary endeavor?  

Effective strategies and interventions help learners to be successful at acquiring, storing and applying knowledge, and ensure that each student can learn to work with others, both necessary for success in the classroom and beyond.  In this newly designed two day workshop, participants will acquire the skills and dispositions to increase their ability to support teachers to connect research to evidence-based practices that positively impact student learning, both behaviorally and academically. bout the brain and learning to support our students’ ability to be resilient.  

Perfect for Instructional Leaders, Instructional Coaches, Child Study Teams, co-teaching teams, School Improvement Teams, RAC school teams and educators committed to EACH student’s growth.

Participants will learn to:

  • use concrete “gap zappers” to foster students’ independent processing and application across content;
  • apply teaching and learning strategies that help students acquire self-control (at the neurological level), necessary for positive behavior as well as effective test taking;
  • ask the three questions that reveal root cause of learning and behavior difficulties; and
  • apply successful protocols and templates for organization in writing Teach students how to learn Build students’ academic vocabulary.

If you are unable to attend a program for which you have registered, email TMI Education at [email protected] or call seven (7) days prior to the program to request a refund. No refunds will be granted unless notification is provided within this time frame. TMI Education reserves the right to cancel events for any reason, including inclement weather and instructor illness. If TMI Education makes the decision to cancel a workshop, we will use the EMAIL contact information you have provided to us to inform you. In addition, we will post the announcement of cancellation on the respective TMI Education website workshop page. If TMI Education cancels, participants will be provided a choice of:

  • a full refund;
  • transfer to another, upcoming workshop date and location (space permitting); or
  • credit toward a future workshop. (Please note that all credits expire one (1) year from the date that they are issued.)
